Job description:
- Performs migration and upgrade of SQL Databases from legacy serverSQL Version to new serverSQL Version.
- Provide Data Mart Support Assistants to the Lead Data Mart Administrator.
- Deploying SQL database solutions within Azure
- Securing Azure SQL resources and data
- Interconnecting Azure SQL resources with other Azure services
- Monitoring and optimising Azure SQL Database performance
- Processes for migrating onpremises SQL Server databases to Azure
- Provides Database Design support.
- Creates maintains and supports the logical and/or physical design of assigned databases by utilising modelling tool to develop the data models.
- Must have Microsoft MCSA or MCITP (MCSE preferred) certification.
- Additional training in Microsoft SQL Analysis Integration or Reporting services is desired.
