Job Description:

As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for developing constructing testing and maintaining architectures such as databases and largescale processing systems. You will work closely with our data scientists analysts and software engineers to understand their requirements and implement robust data solutions that meet our business needs. Your expertise in data warehousing ETL processes and data pipeline development will be essential in ensuring the reliability scalability and performance of our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Design build and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to collect process and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
2. Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract transform and load data from various sources into our data warehouse and analytical systems.
3. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure the accuracy completeness and integrity of our data assets.
5. Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and costeffectiveness leveraging cloudbased technologies and best practices.
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure to identify and resolve issues proactively.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and apply them to enhance our data infrastructure.
8. Document data architecture processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (X years) working as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala with a focus on data processing and manipulation.
• Handson experience with data warehouse solutions (e.g. Amazon Redshift Google BigQuery Snowflake) and ETL tools (e.g. Apache Airflow Informatica).
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP and their data services (e.g. S3 EC2 Azure Data Lake Google Cloud Storage).
• Experience with data modeling schema design and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with stream processing frameworks (e.g. Apache Kafka Apache Flink) and realtime data pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch) for building datadriven applications.
• Certification in cloud computing (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Google Cloud Certified Data Engineer).
