Job Title : Sr. Electrical Engineer
Location : Irvine CA
Type : Onsite Fulltime
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of camera and video systems and related electronic components including image sensors image processors memory and physical layer and interfaces
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including software engineers mechanical engineers and product managers to define camera systems requirements and specifications
- Perform detailed circuit design schematic capture and PCB layout for camera subsystems ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Research emerging camera technologies and trends
- Develop and execute test plans to verify system performance image quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues during development and production
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers
- Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely and costeffective production of camera systems while maintaining quality standards
- Stay uptodate with advancements in camera technology industry standards and best practices actively contributing to the innovation and improvement of our products
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred
- 48 years demonstrable experience as hands on development engineer with a specialization in camera technology preferably in a senior or lead role
- Strong knowledge of video recording systems digital camera systems image sensors and related components preferred
- Experience with design or testing for aerospace systems to military or spaceflight standards preferred
- Fluency in concept design circuit design schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g. Altium Designer Cadence)
- Experience with highspeed interfaces such as MIPI SLVS USB Ethernet and HDMI
- Familiarity with image signal processing techniques and algorithms including noise reduction color correction and image enhancement
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and debug high speed and complex electronic systems utilizing tools such as oscilloscopes logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
- Solid understanding of embedded systems firmware development and softwarehardware integration
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
- A track record of successfully delivering camerarelated projects to market on time and within budget
