Information Services Supervisor

TalentAmp is hiring an Information Services Supervisor for one of our direct clients in the Miami AZ.

We seek an Information Services Supervisor to aid in planning organizing supervising coordinating enhancing maintaining and repairing the computer conventional and wireless telecommunications systems and infrastructure across our sites.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and Reporting: Participate in monitoring and reporting performance and progress related to local IS policy and Compliance Calendar requirements.
• Compliance Assistance: Assist local managers with SOX compliance by providing necessary documentation for control compliance and testing. Also assist local Process Control Managers with compliance activities and definitions.
• Team Support and Development: Assist in the development training and mentoring of local IS support technicians. This includes PC Technicians and Local Area Network Administrators.
• Interface and Communication: Interface with local customers on IS support or service issues communicate local IS issues to regional and enterprise management and strive to build harmonious relationships.

Required Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a closely related field along with four (4) years of experience in a computer technology service delivery capacity; OR
• Associates degree or IT Certificate coupled with five (5) years of related IT experience; OR
• High School diploma or GED complemented by seven (7) years of experience in a computer technology service delivery capacity.

Preferred:

• Experience in an industrial environment.
• Oneyear supervisory experience.
• Oneyear industrial experience.
• Leadership experience in supervisory or IT management roles.
• Project management expertise.
• Experience supporting Process Control Systems or Mine Technologies.
• Certifications such as ITIL Lean IT Six Sigma or others related to the field.
