This is a remote position.

THE ROLE


We are currently looking for a Case Handler to work in a result orientated qualitycontrolled environment where being able to work with a high level of accuracy to prescribed processes and strict deadlines is essential. You will be working as part of a highquality team helping a major financial service provider as part of a Pensions Review Project.



YOU WILL:
  • Review data and evidence gathered in line with the scope of the customer complaint to assess suitability/ eligibility
  • Identify evidential gaps and request required information
  • Where required liaise with relevant 3rd parties via phone
  • Calculate compensation due to eligible customers using prescribe calculation tools in line with process procedures and COMP rules
  • Produce required response and outcome letter
  • Work with a claims management workflow system
  • Ensure data protection remains a focus


EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

Essential

  • Minimum 6 months case handling experience working Defined Benefit transfer claims
  • Experience of dealing with customers in a regulated environment (Pensions preferable)
  • Skilled in applying detailed and documented processes to individual claim scenarios.
  • Ability to demonstrate decisionmaking using a holistic approach
  • PC skills (Word and Excel)
  • Strong literacy / numeracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to demanding deadlines (workflow & time management)
  • Ability to attain and maintain specified quality and production targets
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a rapidly changing team
  • Demonstrate an ability to work with honesty integrity and trustworthiness
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and competence
  • Good communication skills
  • Good letter writing skills
  • Good telephony skills
