HTML5 Frontend Developer fmd

GameDuell is a high traffic platform with more than 500 million page views a month. Therefore we are looking for a HTML5 / Frontend Developer* who is capable of performanceoriented and wellstructured programming. You will work as part of an international team on the development of responsive websites for mobile devices and desktop browsers.

Your tasks

• Use HTML5 to develop responsive websites for games
• Create prototyping concepts and apply graphic visions to websites
• Build new features for the GameDuell platform
• Responsibility for performance issues and the technical design of the mobile website
• Review code and evaluate team members results

Requirements

What we expect

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Frontend Developer*
• A completed university degree in computer engineering computer science or similar
• Several years of experience particularly in JavaScript (incl. OOP) in HTML and CSS3
• Very good knowledge of TypeScript
• Profound experience with JavaScript frameworks preferably Vue.js or Angular React etc.
• A high proficiency level in building understanding and maintaining of complex web applications
• Understanding of RESTful backend interfaces (e.g. with Swagger)
• Experience with JavaScript Testing (Unit Tests with Jest)
• Fluent English is mandatory

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Less CSS or Sass/SCSS
• A good eye for design and a working understanding of high usability
• Good understanding of responsive web design
• Experience in development with JSF/Jakarta Faces is a plus
• Knowledge of German is very welcome
• Experience with agile software development ideally with Scrum
