Description:

• Provide planning consulting technical analysis design deployment development testing implementation maintenance upgrades and daily support of middleware products
  

General Skills:

• Experience with applications servers
  
• Experience with DataPower XML Gateway
  
• Experience with messaging services
  
• Experience with adapters
  
• Experience with development framework/technologies
  
• Experience in middleware software installation configuration tuning and administration as well as experience with application development
  
• Experience with change management and release management as processes supporting the implementation of large applications
  
• Experience in structured methodologies for the design development implementation and maintenance of applications
  
• Experience producing design artefacts code configurations scripts and test cases Ability to analyze the results from functional security loadand stress testing and resolve reported issues
  
• Ability to analyze and solve data integrity security configuration and recovery issues
  
• Assess and test Change Requests (CRQ) with technical content and updating as necessary
  
• Ability to participate in release promotions/implementations
  
• Experience with middleware and gateways
  
• Experience on application monitoring and support
  
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
  

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices.
  
• Knowledge of portal services
  
• Knowledge of GO PKI Security Infrastructure
  
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
  
• Experience conducting system monitoring and performance and data integrity in accordance with ITIL standards
  
• Experience sustaining large application implementations based on the following technology products: Windows Internet Information Server (IIS) IBM HTTP Server Apache IBM WebSphere Oracle Database 11g (and later) Oracle Director Server Enterprise Edition Solaris Windows AIX and Linux
