We are searching for a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our team and support our client a leading pharmaceutical company committed to pioneering healthcare solutions for both humans and animals. In this exciting role youll play a pivotal role in scaling up and globally rolling out their Customer Data Platform (CDP) a critical solution for marketing automation across both their Human Pharma and Animal Health business units.
Your Role and Impact:
As a Senior Data Engineer youll be a key player in both the development and operation of the CDP platform. Youll be responsible for ensuring highquality deliverables and leveraging cuttingedge technologies to maintain a stable and compliant platform. Your work will directly influence how the platform evolves to meet everchanging business needs.
What Youll Do:
- Manage and organize data by building and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to proactively find solutions to any technical challenges that may arise.
- Influence and define project scope and requirements championing innovative process improvements and datadriven solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters degree a plus).
- Over 6 years of experience in IT and business operations.
- Minimum of 34 years of experience in Data Engineering particularly with big data solutions.
- Excellent SQL and analytical SQL Functions knowledge.
- Experience with Python scripting Pandas and Dig Dag scripting.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery methodologies and the software development lifecycle in a DevOps environment.
- Experience using the Atlassian suite (Bitbucket Jira Confluence)
- Prior experience in incident management and test automation preferably in the context of a data platform
- Knowledge of the Treasure Data CDP platform is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English. Excellent communication skills relationship management capabilities and a collaborative work style are essential.
