Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for designing and implementing efficient and effective mechanical systems. As a Mechanical Engineer at M & D Mechanical Contractors you will play a crucial role in the planning designing and execution of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for commercial industrial and residential projects

Perform calculations simulations and tests to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanical systems

Collaborate with project managers architects and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications

Review and approve designs drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements

Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide technical support to construction teams

Identify and troubleshoot any issues or problems that may arise during the design construction or operation of mechanical systems

Keep uptodate with industry developments and advancements in mechanical engineering technology and techniques

Ensure all work is completed within budget and on schedule

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles codes and standards

Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
