Job Overview:

The Marketplace Development Specialist is responsible for initiating contact with potential vendors and key accounts, managing vendor onboarding, and processing data to facilitate their integration into our B2B marketplace. This role is crucial in building the foundation of vendor relationships and ensuring the initial setup of accounts and services within the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Onboarding and Engagement:

• Marketing to potential vendors and key accounts to invite them to register on the marketplace.
• Assist with the onboarding process, providing support and guidance to ensure a smooth integration.
• Develop initial marketing communications to engage and attract new vendors.
• Support the successful operation and flow of B2B orders on our e-marketplace, ensuring a seamless transaction experience.

• Data Management:

• Process and organize vendor data to ensure it is marketplace-ready.
• Utilize Excel and other tools to manage and optimize data for marketplace use.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and persuade.
• Strong organizational and data management skills, with proficiency in Excel and data processing tools.
• Experience in customer service or client relations, preferably within a digital or e-commerce environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Prior experience in business development, customer engagement, or a related field is beneficial.
