Junior Cloud Engineer

This position will entail fully remote work collaborating with international clients on a contract staffing basis (monthtomonth) for 8 hours a day Monday to Friday. Timezone flexibility may be required to accommodate different countries.

Position Summary:As a Junior Cloud Engineer you will work closely with our experienced cloud engineering team to design deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure and services. You will have the opportunity to gain handson experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and Google Cloud while supporting our mission to deliver scalable and reliable solutions to our clients. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong problemsolving skills and a desire to learn and grow in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing implementing and managing cloud infrastructure and services to support business applications and workloads.
• Deploy and configure virtual machines containers and serverless functions on cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and Google Cloud.
• Monitor cloud resources and performance metrics to ensure optimal performance availability and cost efficiency.
• Implement and maintain security measures and best practices to protect cloud environments and data.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration and management tasks using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for cloud deployment and performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving cloudrelated issues and escalations.
• Document processes procedures and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell Bash).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior engineers.
