Senior Network Engineer

Position Overview:As a Senior Network Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and maintaining our companys network infrastructure. Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise you will lead projects to enhance network performance scalability and security. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design implementation and optimization of complex network architectures including LAN/WAN data center and cloud networks.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to assess business requirements and develop network solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers guiding them in best practices and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Perform network capacity planning and scalability assessments to ensure that our infrastructure can support current and future business needs.
• Monitor network performance and security proactively identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities risks and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain documentation policies and procedures related to network design configuration and operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field with a strong track record of designing and implementing enterpriselevel network solutions.
• Expertise in network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP BGP OSPF MPLS VPN VLANs and QoS.
• Handson experience with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco Juniper Arista and Palo Alto Networks.
• Strong understanding of data center networking concepts including virtualization softwaredefined networking (SDN) and cloud networking (AWS Azure GCP).
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
