Urgent Care Physician

Position Title: Urgent Care Physician

Location: Philadelphia PA

Specialty/Setting: Urgent Care Clinic

Schedule: 7 shifts every two weeks totaling 1415 shifts per month.

Hours: Weekdays 8:00 am 8:00 pm Weekends 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Ideal Start Date: Immediate

Patient Volume: Approximately 3035 patients per day

Job Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine

Must have experience treating patients of all ages

DOT Certification preferred (Can be obtained after hiring)

Compensation: 120$ per hour

Responsibilities:

Provide timely and compassionate medical care to urgent care patients

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments

Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions

Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary

Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure highquality patient care

Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records in the electronic health record system

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine

Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Pennsylvania

DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
