Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detailoriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to assist our finance department during a temporary period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure proper approvals are obtained
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Assist with monthend closing procedures
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and uptodate accounts payable records
• Assist with adhoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
• Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field preferred
