Tax Accountant

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing valuable tax planning advice to clients. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual corporate and partnership tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities for clients
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients including analyzing financial data and making recommendations for tax optimization
• Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
• Stay uptodate on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients and team members
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service
• Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g. ProSeries Lacerte Drake)
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
