About the Role:As a Payroll Specialist at Detail Garage youll play a pivotal role in supporting the tactical execution of payroll functions. Reporting to the VP of Accounting youll ensure accurate calculation processing and maintenance of payroll records contributing to errorfree payrolls timely benefits administration and exceptional internal customer support.

Responsibilities:

• Process errorfree biweekly payrolls for Detail Garage & Chemical Guys.
• Review and submit weekly timecards for contingent workforce.
• Become a subject matter expert in payroll and HRIS systems (e.g. Paychex).
• Conduct internal payroll audits to ensure compliance.
• Analyze Overtime and Meal Premium reports to control payroll costs.
• Reconcile and manage group benefits billing and reporting.
• Partner with Paychex and HR Business Partner for store implementations.
• Provide reports for time off tracking and vacation accruals.

What Experience Youll Need:

• 5 years administering multistate payroll.
• Proficiency with payroll systems (Paychex experience preferred) and Excel.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
• Ability to relocate to Torrance CA.
