Consilium Marine US Inc. seeks a Finance Controller in Fort Lauderdale. This pivotal role oversees financial operations and ensures regulatory compliance. The position demands meticulous attention to detail effective organization and adept financial management.

With yearoveryear growth and expansion into South America (HQ in Sweden) the Finance Controller will manage accounting and finance activities for both North and South American locations.

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree and 10 years of large company accounting experience and/or public accounting experience from the audit side.
• Supervisory experience.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint) Experience.
• Highly organized responsible and motivated person that works well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written in the English language.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Spanish and / or Portuguese Speaker
• Sales Tax application Sales Tax returns interface with Avalara software.

Responsibilities (examples):

• Oversee all accounts ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain all internal controls and safeguards.
• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
• Respond to inquiries from the Head of Finance and Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
• Support both internal and external audits of ICFR and IFRS standards; work with auditors both in person and via online portals.
