The Network Engineer is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining Cepheids network infrastructure by applying indepth knowledge of Cisco networking technologies including routers switches wireless controllers and access points AAA.
This position is part of the IT Global Infrastructure & Operation team and will be based in Sweden. At Cepheid our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Configure and maintain network security measures including network segmentation NAC TACACS RADIUS SGT.
Troubleshoot network issues related to connectivity performance and security.
Monitor network performance and identify potential bottlenecks or other issues that could impact performance.
Document network configurations procedures and best practices.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
3 years of experience in network administration and Cisco networking technologies
Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCNA are highly valued.
Indepth knowledge of networking technologies including routing switching and wireless networking DNAC.
Ability to work in a team environment and availability to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
