Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in programming using COBOL with a strong grasp of its syntax and best practices.

• Ability to translate design specifications into robust computer program logic.

• Proven track record in debugging and resolving program issues efficiently.

• Experience in Job Control Language (JCL) programming to manage batch jobs effectively.

• Proficiency in technical writing to document code procedures and system configurations accurately.

• Previous experience in coordinating project activities or taking on leadership roles within development teams.

• Willingness to provide offhours support as needed to ensure system stability and performance.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field providing a solid foundation in computer programming principles.
