Radiation Protection Officer - JOB HUB GLOBAL

JOB OBJECTIVE

Processing inspecting and evaluating subsurface discontinuities using NonDestructive Testing Process of Radiography by Xray and Gamma ray techniques. Other responsibilities include interpreting test results writing reports and interfacing with clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform maintenance and calibrations on NDT equipment to prevent issues.
• Understand and follow drawings procedures and instructions for operating radiography ultrasonic and other NDT equipment.
• Ensure suitability of issued equipment and chemicals for the job.
• Check and interpret site readings accurately and submit reports on time to customers.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Set up and operate Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Understand and comply with test procedures codes specifications and quality assurance instructions.
• Perform various NDT techniques such as Radiographic Testing Ultrasonic testing Magnetic particle testing Penetrant testing and Thickness gauging.
• Understand the limitations of methods and equipment in relation to Quality Health Safety Security and Environment (QHSSE).

Quality Health Security Safety and Environment Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant QHSSE procedures and controls.
• Guarantee employee safety and delivery of highquality products/services.
• Be responsible for actions and omissions.
• Follow agreed safe work systems training and instructions.
• Report accidents incidents and nearmisses promptly.
• Have the authority to stop work if it is deemed unsafe.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a degree / diploma or equivalent.
• Must have certification in ASNT/ISO in RT (NDT Level II).
• Additional Certification in ASNT/PCN/ISO in MT PT UT (NDT Level II).
• Must have at least a minimum of 3 5 years of postcertification experience.
• Should have awareness about EPIC (Engineering Procurement Installation and Commissioning) works in Oil & Gas Shutdown and Manpower Supply.
• Must be proficient in English language.
• Hindi language proficiency is preferred.

Pay: QAR2000.00 QAR2500.00 per month
