Job Description

As a Sports PR Intern you will play a vital role in supporting our public relations efforts to promote our brand. You will be involved in executing strategic communication plans aimed at increasing brand awareness and fostering positive media relations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in the exciting world of PR within the sports media industry.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor media coverage.
  

• Help in attaining backlinks to Sportskeeda s original content from other reputed US Sports and General Media outlets
  

• Draft media pitches and other written materials to communicate key messages to media outlets and other stakeholders.
  

• Conduct research to identify relevant media contacts.
  

• Monitor social media channels and engage with followers to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program preferably in public relations communications marketing sports or a related field.
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  

• Enthusiasm for the fitness industry and a passion for promoting an active lifestyle.
  

• Previous PR or marketing experience either through internships or extracurricular activities is a plus but not required.
  

• Positive attitude team player mentality and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
