Job Description

Responsible for designing substation civil including buildings drains cable trenches
plumbing/sanitation etc. and steel structures activities of tenders & projects for Substation.
Responsible to validate and release substation designs as per clients specification requirements
and satisfaction.
Checking of Substation structural steel Design and Civil Design received from design vendors.
Checking of fabrication drawings for steel structures.
Detailed designing & BOQBill of Materials.
Evaluating sub contractor and sub suppliers offers.
Scrutiny of BOI offers for technical compliance and price comparison.
Checking of BOI Items received from procurement division.
Coordination with client consultant site office and subcontractors for design related issues.
Design / Checking of control buildings GIS buildings other facilities specified in STAAD PRO and in
full compliance with the codes.
Foundation designs for buildingsequipments and transformers/ reactors based on the soil
parameters Design of pile foundations.
Handling Tenders and projects
