MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Must be a Graduate;

* Should have minimum two years experience as Preschool teacher or A recognized Degree /Diploma in education/ NTT

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS * Any graduate from a recognized Institute

* NTT or a recognized degree or diploma in education is desirable
* Experience of Preschool teaching is desirable
* Must have basic knowledge of play way method of teaching
* Must be enthusiastic and full of energy with humility and integrity

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS * Good communication is preferred
* Ability to think creatively and independently and affectionate for children
* Must be fair sensitive patient and kind towards children
* Good knowledge of MSOffice software suite
* Ability to counsel and teach students
* Flexibility with time to work extra hours in case required
* Must be sensitive for health safety and hygiene
* Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relations with parents and children
* Desired personality attributes include accountability integrity honesty commitment enthusiastic passion for teaching punctuality and selfdiscipline
* Ability to work in a team as team player
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Using the best teaching pedagogies like playway methods skills based approach to learning learning through nature games simulations roleplays story telling etc.

  • Developing the students to build healthy competitive spirit cooperation leadership punctuality diligence and team spirit.

  • Developing the curiosity and interest amongst the children and give them the confidence to share their ideas and relate their own experiences

  • Developing confidence in the children to express their views by analysis and explanations

  • Encouraging students to expand their creativity thinking and problem solving skills

  • Promoting experiential learning and making learning fun

  • Learning with the experiments and with the students and respond to student reactions and activities

  • To be active all the time and observe and learn from the students at the same time evaluate the progress of the students

  • Identifying the diverse learners accordingly using the cooperative learning styles

  • Identifying SEN (students with special educational needs) or very able students

  • Discussing and sharing with students to identify their needs concerns and feedback

  • Playing the role of facilitator observer and guide

  • Setting meaningful tasks which ensures high levels of interest among students

  • Providing clear structures for lessons maintaining pace motivation and challenge

  • Ensuring development of students keeping in mind safety and hygiene

  • Making effective use of assessment and ensure coverage of programmes of study as per formulated curriculum and ensuring effective teaching and best use of available time

  • Maintaining discipline in accordance with the Schools procedures and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality and behavior standards of work and homework

  • Make use of effective questioning listen carefully to students give attention to errors and misconceptions

  • Selecting appropriate learning resources and develop study skills through library I.C.T. (Information and Communication Technology) and other sources

  • Evaluating own teaching critically to improve effectiveness

  • Ensuring the effective and efficient deployment of classroom support

  • Assessing how well learning objectives have been achieved and using them to improve specific aspects of teaching

  • Marking and monitor the work of the students and set targets for progress

  • Assessing and recording the progress of the students systematically and keeping records

  • Checking that the work is understood and completed monitor strengths and weaknesses inform planning and recognize the level of achievements of students

  • Undertaking assessment of students as requested by School procedures

  • Preparing and presenting informative reports to parents

  • Leading responsibility for the development aspect of the Schools work and develop plans which identify clear targets and success criteria for its development and / or maintenance

  • Contributing to the entire departmental planning execution and promotion activities.

  • To undertake any additional tasks / responsibilities as directed by the Pre/Primary Coordinator.
