The role
As the Manager of Automation you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of automation within our finance organisation. From designing and implementing automated processes to optimizing existing systems you will play a crucial role in streamlining our operations and driving efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for a forwardthinking individual who is passionate about harnessing the power of automation to drive business success. The role is placed within Viaplay Groups Global Business Services and reports to Head of Global Business Services and is part of the GBS Management team.
- Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize projects based on potential impact.
- Design and deploy automation solutions using different technologies and tools (RPA Power Automate Power Query AI).
- Manage a small team of 1 RPA developer providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate automation performance making adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Stay informed about emerging automation trends and technologies incorporating new advancements into the Groups automation roadmap.
- Establish and maintain best practices standards and documentation for automation processes.
What we are looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and thats why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But to thrive in this role we do believe youll need to possess at least some of the following:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in automation with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or manager role.
- Strong technical expertise in automation tools and technologies such as UiPath Power Automate Power Apps Power Query AI.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation with a resultsoriented mindset.
- Solid understanding of business processes and operations with a focus on continuous improvement.
