As a Systems Scaling Engineer you drive the scaling of our highvolume B2B vehiclesharing platform impacting millions & accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility. You will optimize our systems for performance reliability and costeffectiveness.

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize database structures queries and indexing for peak performance
• Design and execute tests to assess system limits identify bottlenecks and recommend scaling strategies
• Implement monitoring solutions establish alerts and troubleshoot performance issues
• Profile code to identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers on codelevel improvements

What you bring to the table

• 3 years of experience optimizing databasedriven applications for performance and scalability
• Experience with cloud architectures (e.g. AWS GCP)
• Expertise in SQL database design and performance tuning with relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB etc.)
• Proficiency with load testing tools (e.g. JMeter Locust k6 etc.)
• Experience implementing monitoring solutions (e.g. Sentry Grafana) and establishing alerts
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (PHP Python NodeJS)
• Excellent communication skills in English

What gives you bonus points

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB RabbitMQ Redis)
• Experience with distributed systems and containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)
