Technical Writer

Our client an international industrial company based in Frenchspeaking Switzerland and specialized in highvalue industrial equipment is actively seeking a Technical Writer to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to contribute to cuttingedge technical documentation for innovative machinery.

The Technical Writer will be the essential interface between engineers technicians and end users.

Tasks

• Analyzing technical data provided (plans parts lists system descriptions 3D models...) and communicating with clients as needed.
• Developing and revising technical documentation for maintenance or operation adhering to technical specifications and industry standards for machinery.
• Reviewing and validating technical documentation produced by third parties.
• Ensuring clear and concise tracking of activities.
• Contributing to the evolution of methods and processes as part of our continuous improvement approach.

Requirements

• Significant industry experience ideally in the industrial equipment sector or similar
• Technical background (e.g. degree in mechanical engineering electrical engineering or related field)
• Excellent command of both French and English written and spoken
• Proven ability to analyze complex technical data such as plans parts lists and 3D models
• Experience in developing documentation compliant with industry standards for machinery
• Ability to work autonomously while closely collaborating with engineering teams
