About the Opportunity:
FedTec is looking for a Mobile Developer position to fulfill the mobile application development project needs for USPS client.
Position: Mobile Developer
Work Location: Remote
Client: USPS
Primary Responsibilities
- Motivated selfstarter with excellent analytical organization and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to meet with senior employees and representatives to brainstorm discuss ideas related to application design project plan coding testing and release of the application.
- Ability to diagnose and improve UX/UI and fix bugs.
- API development tools and best practices
- Application Security
- Performance tuning
- DevSecOps Secure Coding practices and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker Jenkins GitLab)
- Knowledge/experience using Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
- Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne ServiceNow etc.)
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Database experience for mobile web and server development using Cloud Firestore Firebase or similar.
- Experience developing in Cloud Platforms
- Experience deploying to apps stores and knowledge of Developer Program Policies for Google Play for Android and Apples App Store for iOS.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years experience developing mobile applications for iOS Android or Windows within an Agile product delivery team
- 2 years proven experience in coding using programming languages such as Java Swift Kotlin and ObjectiveC.
Work Schedule:
8 am to 5 pm ET
Additional Provisions
- Pass both a clientmandated clearance process to include drug screening criminal history check and credit check.
- Once a candidates resume is approved and the interview passed the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
- An offer contingent upon successful USPS Public Trust clearance will be extended to the candidate.
- If a candidate is given an interim clearance continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
- Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
- All overtime must be preapproved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
