Assistant Finance Manager

We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and looking for an assistant finance manager e for a reputed consumer healthcare and mobility company located in Colombo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and analysis of detailed productlevel reporting that provides insights into performance trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Product Development Sales and Marketing teams to gather data and interpret financial results linked to product performance.
• Manage the monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes for product lines ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decisionmaking regarding product pricing cost reduction initiatives and profitability analysis.
• Implement and refine financial reporting systems databases and software to improve the efficiency of financial operations.
• Conduct variance analysis and adhoc reporting as required to support strategic plans and business reviews.
• Prepare detailed presentations and reports for senior management to support strategic decisionmaking.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts for product lines.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff and assist in their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field. Master’s degree or CPA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in financial analysis reporting or a similar role preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods company.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and experience with financial reporting systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Hyperion).
• Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Superior communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex financial information in an easytounderstand manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel (advanced level).
