Job Overview
The OM is tasked with managing and streamlining our trading processes for all our
products. The OM will plan and manage logistics warehousing transportation and
customer services for the oil that is shipped from the gulf into Mundhra/Kandla.
He / she will direct optimize and coordinate entire shipment cycles and liaise with all
stakeholders across the supply chain including manufacturers suppliers clearing house
agents (CHAs) shipping companies retailers and consumers. The OM will report each

days movements to the CEO. A successful OM will be able to run this process endto
end with minimal interference from the CEO. He / she will create a streamlined and

efficient process that is easy to follow and will improve operations efficiency reduce
costs and ensure goods handover customer satisfaction and revenue receipt.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure adequate supply of materials.
Ensuring goods are booked on shipping vessels by the freight forwarders and
understanding / coordinating the shipping schedules with carriers to track when
goods will arrive.
Creating Bills of Entries draft BLs COO certificates Invoices Packing Lists and
understanding the nuances of government payback schemes.
Understanding regulations around importing / exporting (especially in Mundra)
the nature of the industry in India and how these change / develop and ensuring
compliance.
Developing and implementing plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs in
supply chain operations.
Working closely with the suppliers and the CHAs to ensure all documents are
correct comprehensive and completed in time.
Following up on the clearance and lab testing process proactively and managing it
in a timely manner.
Monitoring the entire shipment process / supply chain.

Updating the CEO on deployments and collections on a daily basis and flag any
risks or roadblocks that may affect the shipping / delivery schedule.
Qualifications
Preferably Masters degree in Logistics Business Administration or a related field
Experience in shipping operations / logistics.
Ability to handle unexpected situations and to think and act on the spot.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Willingness to travel to Mundra port or warehousing locations if required.
Planning and organizational skills.
