We urgently need nursery nurses and nursery assistants around Armley Leeds.

You ll play a crucial role in providing highquality care and education to young children. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising Children: You ll create a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 5 years. This involves organizing activities assisting with meals and ensuring their wellbeing.
Curriculum Implementation: You ll follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework planning and delivering ageappropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Observations and RecordKeeping: Regularly observing children s progress documenting their achievements and communicating with parents or guardians.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with other nursery staff parents and external agencies to support each child s individual needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following criteria:

Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare (e.g. CACHE NVQ or equivalent). Unqualified nursery assistants should have relevant experience or be actively working towards a recognized qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 3 months experience in a nursery or child care setting.
Skills: Excellent communication skills patience and a genuine passion for working with children.
Clearance: Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders. Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining high levels of quality and safety. Drive business growth and development through effective marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff. Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passionate about early years education and committed to providing the best possible care for children.
