We are seeking a Sr. Manager,Product Management for a global water quality manufacturingcompany. The Senior Manager, Product Management will oversee allproduct management activities associated with Conditioning and Filtration. This will include planning and execution of productportfolio changes (develop/acquire new products, modify existingproducts, rationalize obsolete or low performing products) todeliver sales and profitability growth targets. RESPONSIBILITIES Identifymarket trends and opportunities in key verticals for the businessand in alignment with businessstrategy. Identifyproduct portfolio changes (new product development, productmodification, product retirement) that support the businessstrategy and provide opportunities for sales growth and higherprofitability. Collaboratewith sales marketing, operations, sourcing, and engineering toensure alignment with planned product portfoliochanges. Directproduct managers and specialists to manage product portfolio changeprojects through company s stage gateprocess. Directproduct managers and specialists to make necessary price changes tooptimize profitability in collaboration with sales, sourcing,operations, andengineering. Defineand implement processes and best practices for product roadmapping, business case preparation, marketing strategy development,rationalization, and other product managementactivities. Directproduct managers to develop technology road maps that considertechnology innovations, market trends, competitive landscapeopportunities and market requirements for targetsegments. Inputswill include financial projections (orders, sales, and gross marginby product line) and specific commitments for growth fromcommercial programs and new product developmentlaunches. Maintainupdated competitive landscape analyses for water quality equipment,media, and controls to track market share evolution, new entrants,introduction of disruptive technologies, and monitor competitortechnologystrategies. Maintainupdated acquisition target lists for cloud-based control andmonitoring solutionproducts. Setannual targets for product managers and specialists and conductannual performance reviews in adherence to companypolicy. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Engineering required. Master s degreepreferred. Masters related to process instrumentation and controlsystems. Minimum 10 years of experience in product management and 15 years ofexperience in the water treatment of water of product management best practices, marketing strategydevelopment methodologies, forecasting models and business casepreparation techniques, and pricingmodels. Workingknowledge of financialstatements. Demonstratedability to lead multifunctional teams preferably in industrial ormunicipal water knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, controlmarket space, and competitive landscape of instrumentation andcontrolsystems.
