Industrial HVAC Technician Baton Rouge LAOur client in Baton Rouge LA is currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. In this role youll be responsible for providing preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment including power generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment HVAC systems and oilfree air compressors. Key Responsibilities:Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial HVAC equipment chillers and related machinery.Troubleshoot equipment failures both in our shop and at customer locations.Set up and operate equipment independently or alongside fellow technicians at our shop or on customer sites.Prepare for daily local travel using companyprovided vehicles.Be prepared for overtime weekend work and potential travel opportunities.Requirements:High School diploma or GED equivalent.46 years of handson experience working with industrial HVAC equipment preferably in a chemical plant setting.Proficiency in calculating nominal and effective tonnage as well as reading and interpreting schematics.Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card as per customer requirements.Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Possession of a valid drivers license.If you are ready to seize this opportunity or know someone who is simply apply now to become a part of this dynamic team or share the opportunity.
