Position Overview:

As a Senior Retail Merchandiser you will be responsible for overseeing the planning buying and merchandising activities for our retail clients. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with the companys goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for managing a team of merchandisers and ensuring that all merchandising activities are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of merchandise assortment plans based on market trends customer preferences and sales data.
2. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
3. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain accurate inventory records.
4. Work with the team to create visually appealing product displays that enhance the overall shopping experience.
5. Analyze sales performance and customer feedback to make datadriven recommendations for product improvements and assortment adjustments.
6. Collaborate with marketing sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandising strategies.
7. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to coordinate merchandising activities.
8. Assist in determining pricing strategies based on market trends competitive analysis and target customer profiles.
9. Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and consumer preferences

Qualification:

1. Min. a bachelors degree in a relevant field.
2. Min. 3 5 years of progressive in Retail Merchandiser
3. Excellent proficiency in spreadsheet software particularly Excel/google Sheets.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced retail environment.
7. Prior experience in merchandising is highly preferred.
8. Passion for the retail and lifestyle goods industry.
