Job Summary:

Our client is currently in need of a dedicated and skilled Van Driver to fulfill a temporary assignment in the Nyanza region for a duration of two weeks. As a Van Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods and materials to various locations within the Nyanza region.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a van safely and responsibly to transport goods and materials.
  
• Execute timely deliveries to designated destinations within the Nyanza region.
  
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations at all times.
  
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the van interior and exterior.
  
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and promptly report any maintenance issues.
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
  
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and customers.
  
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  
• Proven experience as a van driver or similar role.
  
• Familiarity with the roads and routes in the Nyanza region.
  
• Proficiency in using GPS devices and maps for navigation.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
