Position: New Product Development (Electronics) Lead

Reporting to: Head of Product Development & Commercialisation. In future to Global Research & New Product Development Director

Business Division: Printed Electronics

Location: Bengaluru/Pune

Scope: 2 Facilities in India

Seeking for a highly experienced New Product Development Lead to drive the ideation development and commercialization of groundbreaking products in the rapidly growing field of printed electronics. The incumbent will play a critical role in translating innovative concepts into marketready solutions.

Key Expectation:

• Drive the developing new application. Well versed with embedded hardware embedded software and circuitry to design.
• Conduct indepth market research to identify new business opportunities and unmet customer needs within the printed electronics space.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in printed electronics technologies materials and fabrication techniques.
• Generate creative product ideas aligned with market trends and company strategy fostering a culture of innovation within your team.
• Develop and manage the entire new product development process for printed electronics including feasibility studies prototyping testing and pilot production.
• Manage project timelines budgets and resources to ensure ontime and onbudget delivery.
• Lead and collaborate with crossfunctional teams (engineering design marketing sales) to bring new printed electronics products to market successfully.
• Define product specifications and ensure new products meet all quality performance and costefficiency standards.
• Oversee postlaunch product performance gather customer feedback and utilize learnings to inform future product iterations.
• The incumbent is responsible for leading the organization in research for new products product enhancements and product redesign.
• The incumbent would evaluate the potential and practicality of products in development and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Drive product innovation and experiment to keep library of various material combinations to beat customer specifications.
• Deliver customer samples extremely fast & first time right in quality
• Creates a prototype of a new product in order to iron out flaws in the final design
• Prepares a cost analysis on the development of a new product

Additionally:

• Ensure speedy & accurate handover to production
• Proactive approach to new developments
• Will be managing existing product engineering team.
• Presents new ideas to the management in order to gain permission to develop product lines
• Incumbent will closely work with the engineering design marketing sales etc
• Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Deep understanding of printed electronics technologies including printing methods materials and device functionalities.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and translate research findings into commercially viable products.
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a datadriven approach to decision making.

Technical Skills Set Expectations:

• Minimum 15 years of experience with a proven track record in both research and new product development ideally in the printed electronics industry.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile StageGate) is a plus.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for product development (e.g. design simulation software) is preferred
