NC - Respiratory Therapist - Fayetteville

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fulltime Respiratory Therapist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Fayetteville NC 28304

Start Date: 4/30/2024

Shift: All Shifts Available Full Time 36 hours per week.

Salary: $47736.00 to $65520.00

Performs all aspects and modalities of Respiratory Care to Health System patients per department guidelines. Responds to resuscitation situations and other respiratory emergencies when needed. Maintains and completes appropriate documentation in patients charts and departmental records. Performs as charge therapist when necessary.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• At least 1 year of previous experience preferred

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• BLS/BCLS certified by the American Heart Association is required.
• RRT National Board For Respiratory Care is required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must have an understanding of medical terminology and current respiratory care modalities.
• Must have the ability to react calmly and maintain composure in stressful situations and when dealing with coworkers patients and hospital guests.
• Is knowledgeable of the psychosocial and physiological development and spiritual needs of infants children adolescents and all adult age groups (per Ericksons Model) to provide appropriate care and intervention either personally or through staff.
• Must be able to communicate orally have manual dexterity to operate and assemble equipment have visual acuity able to stand or walk for long periods be able to position and move patients and be able to push heavy equipment to patients bedsides.
• This position may involve skin eye and mucous membranes with blood or other potentially infectious materials.
