VA - RN ED - Nights

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for an RN Emergency Room to work Emergency Department. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Pennington Gap VA 24277

Assignment Start Date: 5/12/2024

13 weeks Nights 12hour shift 36 hours weekly guaranteed

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of RN experience is required.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Must have current State of VA RN licensure
• BLS/BCLS certification is essential.
• ACLS preferred
• PALS is required
• NIHSS preferred

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: Nights 7 pm 7 am; 36/48 schedule Requires floating

Orientation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. I can start the travel any Sunday and you can complete the compliance documents by the deadline.

Shift detail: The hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule (use whichever is appropriate for the employment agreement) if there is a decrease in the census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.

Traveler Policy: Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty.

Radius Rule: The travelers permanent residence must be 100 miles or > from the hospitals service area. The radius Rule is 100 miles to qualify as a traveler. Do not submit candidates that live within 100 miles of the facility. Please include the profile skills checklist and the following items: 1. Legal full name and last 4 digits of SS # 2.
