Data Management Coordinator


Overview:


We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Management Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Management team for a key project within the Automobile industry. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of data related to various supply chain activities ultimately supporting the smooth operation of our business processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of Supply Chain principles particularly within the context of the Automobile industry.


Responsibilities:


1. Purchase Order (PO) Management:

Generate and maintain Purchase Orders for Parts and Tires ensuring accuracy in item descriptions quantities pricing and delivery schedules.

Collaborate closely with procurement teams and vendors to reconcile any discrepancies and expedite order processing.


2. Product Code Activation and Maintenance:

Coordinate the activation of product codes in the system working closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with product specifications and pricing agreements.

Regularly review and update product codes as needed to reflect changes in inventory or pricing structures.


3. PO Volume Management:

Manage a high volume of Purchase Orders approximately 700 per week with a focus on maintaining efficiency and accuracy throughout the process.

Monitor order status proactively identify potential delays or issues and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure ontime delivery.


4. Container Ordering and Logistics:

Facilitate the ordering and logistics coordination for containers optimizing shipping schedules and transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Work closely with logistics partners and carriers to track shipments and resolve any deliveryrelated issues in a timely manner.


5. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Ordering:

Oversee the EDI ordering process managing data exchanges with vendors and ensuring seamless integration with internal systems.

Troubleshoot EDI issues and collaborate with IT teams to implement solutions and enhancements to improve process efficiency.


6. JustinTime (JIT) Inventory Management:

Support JIT inventory management practices by monitoring inventory levels analyzing demand patterns and coordinating replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels.

Collaborate with production teams to synchronize supply and demand and minimize excess inventory holding costs.
