Your IT Recruiter is helping an ondemand autonomous ridehailing company hire an experienced Data Loss Prevention Analyst to provide technical support for deploying configuring and optimizing the companys DLP security platforms.

In this role you will use DLP tools to:
  • Better understand the organizations data and information classifications.
  • Discover and identify intentional and unintentional data loss threats.
  • Validate the process technologies and services handling critical information.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience reviewing and remediating DLP alerts. Were looking for detailoriented criticalthinking individuals who are able to communicate results effectively.

As a Data Loss Prevention Analyst youll:
  • Remediate DLP alerts and perform analysis for triage or escalation.
  • Maintain DLP technology and compile reports.
  • Partner with engineering operational people/HR and product colleagues.
  • Contribute to risk measurement perception mitigation and prevention with data stories.
  • Analyze business product and security data uncover evolving threats and risks and identify weaknesses patterns and anomalies.
  • Partner with the incident response team to escalate and respond to potential or real threats.
  • Define implement and support process and technology improvements related to preventing unauthorized disclosure modification removal or destruction of information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training programs for relevant stakeholders.
  • Suggest recommendations for new policies standards and procedure



Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent in one of the following (computer science statistics math internet security or other relevant majors) or equivalent onthejob experience from academia law enforcement military service or government service
  • 5 years of experience reviewing and remediating DLP alerts
  • Experience using data protection solutions such as Forcepoint Symantec McAfee Microsoft Purview or CrowdStrike
  • Ability to process raw structured and unstructured data (e.g. CSV JSON)
  • Knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations
  • Knowledge of NIST CSF RMF and SP 80053
  • Ability to grasp technical aspects willingness to learn new and challenging technology and enthusiasm for accepting challenging assignments
  • Ability to think critically objectively and rationally and communicate in a resultoriented datadriven manner.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with CrowdStrike
  • Familiarity with statistical analytical tools and data visualization
  • Experience with policy and rule software tools
Commitment: This is a fulltime 6month contract position staffed via our partner. This role is onsite available to candidates who are local to the Foster City CA area.

Basic Qualifications : BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field rom an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Academic or professional experience using Java, C, C++, C#, Python, or similar programming languages Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Desired skills : Working on cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration/Test). FACE, Data Modelling and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) - Cameo or Rhapsody, SysML, DOORS, ICD/IRD/IDD. Design Assurance, System Verification, Integration & Test - test documentation and conduct, troubleshooting hardware/software. Strong verbal and written communication. Familiarity or Experience with any of the following: o Data Modeling o SWF/DDE o CPL and UoP development, FACE o Cockpit Avionics, DO-178 o Air Data Computer, AHRS Integration, Civil FMS
