OVP is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for coverage at Holzer Meigs(49423) Jackson (46425) and Gallipolis (49424). Provider must be available 710 shifts a month consistently for the next 34 months. Please submit provider to all 3 Holzer sites.

Meigs ED is a freestanding ED that sees between 2535 patients a day on average.
This is staffed by a physician 24 hrs a day (8a8p 8p8a) with a midlevel from 12p12a.
Each provider manages their own documentation.
Holzer is not designated as a trauma center. Traumas would need transferred to a tertiary center for trauma evaluation.
Since Meigs ED is a freestanding ED they do not handle admissions those are handled by the Hospitalist team once the patient arrives to Gallipolis main site.
Providers would be responsible for codes in the ED.
IM/FM must be ABMS or AOA with ACLS/ATLS/BLS/PALS like the other Holzer locations.
Please note:Medical Staff fees will be reimbursed after provider has completed first shift

ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
- Please submit rates and availability at time of name clear REQUIRED
- OH state License REQUIRED
- COVID Vaccination REQUIRED
- MUST be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM (can be double boarded ABPS) REQUIRED
- MUST have 2 recent experience REQUIRED
- EM boarded physicians need NRP
- Other boarded physicians need ACLS ATLS BLS NRP and PALS
- Please submit provider to all 3 Holzer sites (Meigs Jackson and Gallipolis)
