Job Description:

DayToDay: Our company is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Implementation Delivery team. As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for the implementation and support of quality initiatives within assigned areas through business requirements elicitation documentation and testing support. These Business Analysts will serve as a liaison between internal/external customers and IT for business definition scope testing and implementation to ensure quality efficiency effectiveness and customer knowledge to improve business practices. They should possess a high degree of operational knowledge within at least one of the following areas:

• Member Enrollment
• Sales & Marketing/Broker

The ideal candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude possess an ability to take initiate and be a selfstarter. The main function of the BAs is to elicit and document business requirements conduct UAT and drive projects for the business areas as SMEs. They should have a strong background in project implementations requirements gathering & documentation QNXT Medicaid/Medicare/Commercial LOBs communication and most importantly have a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements for implementation projects
• Write acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure project deliverables meet these criteria
• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement
• Analyze data and provide insights to support business decisions
• Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders and escalate as necessary
• Conduct UAT for identified business requirements
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure requirements are properly implemented and tested
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and drive decisions
• Manage project scope and timelines to ensure projects deliverables are on time
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Create and maintain project documentation including project plans process maps and requirements documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems or related field
• 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a health plan environment
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
• Documenting and driving review sessions for requirements gathering
• Member enrollment/EDI834 experience (Enrollment/ EDI is much easier to train than the basic business requirement skillset so if there is a heavy hitter with all other requirements but not as strong in Enrollment/EDI will submit)
• Sales/Broker experience (Only for the Sales/Broker Workstream)
• Edifecs (Most important for candidates with a strength in Enrollment piece)
• Process mapping
• QNXT(not required for Sales and Marketing/broker; but preferred for both workstreams)
• Commercial/Medicaid/Medicare LOB experience (not everyone is required to have commercial experience but they do need some with Commercial as this is new territory for the team and MUST have strong experience on either Medicaid/Medicare OR Commercial to even be considered)
• Jira
• Risk analysis
• Gap analysis
• Leading & driving meetings
• Presenting to large audiences
• Project experience Waterfall & Agile methodology; understanding of the different project phases

Information from conversation with one of the team leads : Strength in ability to speak in front of 40 ppl during gather requirement sessions present ideas get clarifying information when in the session based on information and requirements the consultant has gathered so far and stakeholders are updating them if they need a change. It is essential that this Sr. Business Analyst understands they will be responsible for leading the meetings with the information they have and prompting and gathering feedback and important information from the attendees. (this is a piece that every manager and director is making sure to drive home).

Requirement Writing and gathering experience: writing business Requirements within Health Plan Enrollment Required and UAT Testing is a plus!
