Job Summary:

As an Azure Data Engineer you will play a key role in expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture. You will be responsible for optimizing data flow and collection for crossfunctional teams leveraging Azure cloud services and implementing scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop construct test and maintain data architectures such as databases and largescale processing systems.
• Ensure that data architecture supports the requirements of the business and industry practices.
• Implement data flows to connect operational systems data for analytics and BI systems.
• Conduct data modeling analysis and mining to derive insights.
• Utilize Azure cloud services such as Azure SQL Data Warehouse Azure Data Lake Blob Storage Data Factory Databricks Stream Analytics and Cosmos DB to build scalable and highperformance data solutions.
• Comply with data security and privacy policies and understand data governance principles.
• Develop batch and realtime analytical solutions prototypes and proofs of concept for selected solutions.
• Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes to ensure data quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including the Executive Product Data and Design teams to address datarelated technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a relevant field; a masters degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services such as Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Data Factory Azure Databases and Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL database design and the ability to write SQL queries.
• Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Familiarity with streamprocessing systems such as Storm and SparkStreaming.
• Proficiency in objectoriented/object function scripting languages such as Python and Scala.
