Overview:
As an Interventional Cardiologist with DM DNB certification you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating patients with heartrelated conditions using minimally invasive procedures. Your expertise and leadership in the cardiac intervention field are crucial for the success of our cardiology department and the wellbeing of our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty stenting and atherectomy
- Evaluating and diagnosing patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
- Utilizing advanced imaging technologies during procedures
- Managing and monitoring patient progress before during and after interventions
- Participating in clinical research and contributing to medical advancements in the field
- Collaborating with other specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Supervising and mentoring medical staff and fellows
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to strategic planning
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Participating in continuous education and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- DM/ DNB in Cardiology with specialized training in interventional cardiology
- Valid state medical license and board certification
- Proven experience in performing a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures
- Exceptional diagnostic and decisionmaking skills
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular imaging and interpretation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated on the latest advancements
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Capability to maintain composure in highpressure situations
