Our established Substance Abuse Outpatient Facility is currently seeking a fulltime CASACT (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee) to become part of our team.

Responsibilities:

Conduct intake assessments under supervision

Provide both group and individual counseling sessions

Lead psychoeducational groups centered around substance use disorders

Maintain accurate patient progress documentation in accordance with state regulations

Engage in clinical supervision meetings guided by a supervisor

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements:

CASACT license in the state of NY

Substance abuse experience preferred
