Rate: DOE
Duration: 1 year
Location: Dallas TX Requirement is to have a candidate in US able to work NAM hours. If a candidate is local to a client location they would be expected to be onsite a few days a week. Local travel to client site office is not reimbursed.

Skills:
IT General
Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering/infra as code (Terraform preferred)
Deep understanding on AWS/kubernetes/Docker best practises.
Deep understanding on DevOps/GitOps/CICD/Platform Engineering
AWS certified engineer is a plus
Certified kubernetes engineer is a plus
Karpenter experience is a plus
Requirements:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Platform Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust and scalable platform solutions that support our companys infrastructure and services. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the reliability performance and security of our platform while driving innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain scalable platform solutions that meet the companys infrastructure requirements.
Collaborate with software engineers DevOps engineers and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and design appropriate platform solutions.
Implement automation tools and processes to streamline deployment monitoring and management of platform services.
Ensure high availability reliability and performance of platform services through proactive monitoring troubleshooting and optimization.
Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the efficiency scalability and security of the platform.
Define and enforce best practices and standards for platform development deployment and operations.
Lead and mentor junior engineers providing guidance and support in platform design implementation and troubleshooting.
Participate in crossfunctional initiatives to integrate new features services and technologies into the platform.
Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security policies and controls across the platform.
Work with compliance teams to ensure platform solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
X years of experience in platform engineering infrastructure design or related roles.
Strong proficiency in designing and implementing platform solutions using cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python Shell or PowerShell.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible Puppet or Chef.
Solid understanding of networking security and infrastructure principles.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Travis CI).
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team environment.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar are a plus.
Deliverables:
Process Flows
Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
Participate as primary co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
Participate as a team member of the functional team
