IT Forensic Analyst

Job Title: IT Forensic Analyst

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough forensic analysis of digital evidence encompassing computers mobile devices and various electronic media.
• Investigate security incidents data breaches and other cyber threats.
• Utilize industrystandard forensic tools and methods to collect preserve and analyze digital evidence.
• Document findings meticulously and prepare comprehensive reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including IT legal and law enforcement entities when necessary.
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings and other relevant contexts.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and tools in digital forensics and cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Proficient with forensic tools like EnCase FTK Autopsy and XWays Forensics.
• Strong grasp of file systems operating systems and network protocols.
• Experience with evidence collection preservation and maintaining chain of custody.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar credentials are advantageous.
