Title: Manual Tester

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications:

• Understanding of software testing fundamentals including test planning test case design test execution defect tracking and reporting.
• Ability to create detailed test cases based on requirements and execute them manually to identify defects and ensure software functionality.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking tools like Jira Bugzilla or HP ALM to report and track defects throughout the testing process.
• Experience in performing regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Capability to perform exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues that may not be covered by scripted test cases.
• Ability to create and maintain test documentation including test plans test scenarios test scripts and test reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with developers product managers and other stakeholders regarding testing activities and findings.
• Keen attention to detail to identify and document software defects accurately.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues and determine the root cause of defects.
• Ability to prioritize testing tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with specific domain knowledge may be required depending on the industry or domain of the software being tested (e.g. finance healthcare ecommerce).
• Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements priorities and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Eagerness to stay updated with the latest trends tools and best practices in software testing through selflearning training and professional development opportunities.
