Hire Direct is seeking an experienced motivated Filler Operator to join an established growing company in Ogden Utah. As a Filler Operator you will keep the warehouse organized and ensure merchandise within the warehouse is properly boxed and stored goods are in their designated location.

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Workday. Rotating Work Schedule. Day Shift Night Shift Monday Friday

Hourly Wage: $23.00/hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble operate and monitor filling equipment across multiple production lines to prepare for production.
  • Monitor gauges on the fillers to ensure critical control parameters and package weights are within specifications.
  • Respond promptly to machine alarms and access the appropriate resources/technicians.
  • Test package integrity and perform seal evaluation randomly or at prescribed intervals.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies are in reserve for continuous operations.
  • Monitor the overall quality of the product and packaging materials.
  • Maintain all equipment and work area in a clean and sanitary condition by following proper cleaning procedures for all equipment including scheduled CIP.
  • Alert and collaborate with mechanics if equipment malfunctions to resolve problems.
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out accurately startup and cleaning checklist downtime sheets and quality check sheets
  • Evaluate production date (i.e. variances efficiencies).
  • Communicate production issues with the supervisor.
  • Compliance with the Companys Integrated Management Systems which includes but is not limited to Production Quality Food Safety & GMP.
  • Compliance always with all rules & policies regarding health safety occupational safety environmental safety food safety legal regulations company requirements etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate Forklift and Pallet Jack in a safe work environment.
  • Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F80F degrees)
  • Familiar with strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Highschool GED or equivalent diploma required.
