Job Title: Sales Support Specialist I
Location: Walkersville MD 21793

Work Type: Hybrid (Candidates must be local to Walkersville to work in the office 2 times per month)
Description:
  • Sales Support Specialists are responsible for providing support to the Sales Team and customers during the sales process generally in realtime.
  • They give all customers a positive brand experience. Maintaining customer satisfaction is their primary goal.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all PreSale Inbound administrative tasks for Transactional accounts within a specified timeline by directing the customer to the website for selfsupport; including but not limited to order status pricing availability and price quotes.
  • Triage communicate and close requests for all Technical and Product related inquiries.
  • Respond to the customer for reserves and sample requests as well as additional requirements that are outside the scope of selfsupport.
  • Including but not limited to: the creation and modification of Opportunities and Sales Agreements for Transactional customers.
  • Research and interpret customer requests including but not limited to; order status pricing invoice copies product availability donor details tracking information and other inquiries related to the order.
  • Set up edit authorize and manage reserve inventory requests in the pre and postsale setup; including onhold delivered & not transferred standing and backorder per standard procedures. Interpret availability data for material using Power BI Dashboard.
  • Assist Customer with Credit Application Request/Form Instructions as needed.
  • Work directly with customers sales and internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations.
  • Provide website registration support to new and existing users while proactively pushing customers to digital platforms.
  • Engage internal stakeholders and external customers in a positive professional friendly and helpful working relationship.
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders most positively and professionally and determine appropriate followup; i.e.; extended backorders customer notifications complaints etc.
  • Ensure all vendor or customer information is current; i.e.; vendor forms supplier questionnaires bank letters and W9 requests.
  • Route all relevant vendor or customer requests to appropriate departments.
  • Verify and ensure necessary quote details are accurate before the final release of sales agreements to customers.
  • Complete Cornerstone and iComply assignments within the designated time.
  • Conduct Account Maintenance tasks; Master Data requests Account Segmentation and MSDS requests as required.
  • Implementation and maintenance of standard price lists in SAP/ERP/SFDC systems.
  • Ensure proper pricing and cost information is reflected on orders and sales agreements administered by Sales and Sales Support.
  • Assist in discrepancies brought to attention; applying or directing corrective action into the appropriate system of record.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Prior handson experience with SAP
  • Strong experience in settingup editing authorizing and managing reserve inventory requests in the pre and post sale setup
  • Handson experience with MS Suite
  • Excel Extract Data Formatting spreadsheets VLookup Pivot Tables
