Education qualifications and/or training

Essential

• BSC in Dietetics or equivalent
  
• Current registration as Dietitian with HCPC
  
• Post graduate training in paediatric Dietetics
  

Desirable

• Member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) Obesity Specialist Group
  
• Study in behavioural therapy
  

• Experience
  

  Essential
  

  • Proven clinical experience following graduation. This must include at least one years experience in managing children and young adults on home enteral feeding
    
  • Experience of training student dietitians
    
  • Working as a part of a team
    
  • Previous experience of research and audit
    
  • Experience of developing dietetic service
    
  • Extensive experience of outpatient clinics
    

  Desirable
  

  • Post registration experience of managing children on home enteral feeding allergy and faltering growth.
